After casting, the work on the surface is only beginning. Each element passes through our hands individually. We remove edges and casting remnants, following the contours of the original shape.
This is the slow, dusty side of making. The photos show the workspace, the clothes for this stage and the colourful elements waiting their turn. Behind the lightness of the finished jewellery is very real, everyday work.
Finally, we wash the pieces with soap and water before moving them to the clean atelier for the next steps. There is no quick leap from idea to finished object here: there is repetition, attention and time devoted to every small surface.
